Job Description

Job Summary

Arnett amp; Burgess are looking for a skilled and proactive Deskside Support Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to our employees and ensuring that all IT equipment and systems are functioning efficiently. You will be required to diagnose and resolve technical issues, install hardware and software, and assist with network connectivity problems. As a Deskside Support Analyst, you will also be required to maintain accurate documentation of all support requests and work with other members of the IT team to improve processes and enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support to end-users for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Install and configure software, operating systems, and other applications.
  • Set up and configure new devices for end-users, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all support requests and work performed.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the IT team to improve processes and enhance user experience.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades of hardware and software.
  • Provide training to end-users on new hardware, software, and technologies.
  • Adhere to established IT policies and procedures.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff for resolution as needed.

Requirements

University Degree or College Diploma in Information Technology related discipline is preferred. Microsoft certifications are a plus.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an Information Technology related role.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 and the Office 365 Suite.
  • Experience with remote endpoint management software.
  • Ability to remotely troubleshoot iPhone and Android issues.
  • Experience with Active Directory is an asset.
  • Experience with scripting or programming in a language is an asset (JavaScript, PowerShell, PHP, C#, SQL).
  • Must be self-motivated and a team player.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Work Conditions:

Office based with occasional travel to field locations as needed.

Hours: Full-Time. Monday Friday.
