About the role:
As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and managing the cloud based services that power the AssistIQ platform.

Key Responsibilities:
- Key stakeholder of the AWS cloud platform and ensure we follow best practices
- Design, develop and enhance the capabilities of the AssistIQ platform
- Streamline the deployment process and ensure automation and continuous integration best practices are followed
- Develop internal tools to optimize the management and monitoring of our deployments
- Analyze current technology/processes in use and develop strategies to improve and expand upon them.
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to the other Development team members
- Participate in drafting, reviewing and maintaining technical documentation
- Participate in product management planning of product features and development projects
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in software development
- 3+ years’ experience building serverless AWS applications and with the AWS SDK
- 3+ years experience monitoring, supporting and enhancing production applications
- Computer Science degree, relevant diploma or demonstrable work experience
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with SQL and NOSQL datastores (e.g. PostgreSQL and DynamoDB)
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic
- Expertise in one of the following: Javascript/Typescript, Python or Go Lang
- Experience with infrastructure as code using AWS CDK or Terraform
- Experience with ReactJS or ReactNative an asset
- Experience in the life science, healthcare or technology industry an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- French oral and written communication skill is an asset
- You are legally entitled to work in Canada
