Kognitive Sales Solutions in partnership with CMI Solar a leading provider of solar energy solutions. Are looking for experienced Sales Representatives to join our growing team. Our Door-to-Door Traveling Salesperson is responsible for promoting and selling products or services to customers in their homes or businesses. This role requires a lot of in-field time visiting customers in various locations.
Some of the duties and responsibilities of a Traveling Salesperson include:
- Obtaining site information and providing custom solar solutions
- Identifying potential customers in assigned regions
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers
- Demonstrating how products or services meet the needs of customers
- Closing sales and achieving sales targets
- Providing excellent customer service and support
- Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and trends
Compensation: Base pay of $21/hr PLUS commission
To be successful in this role, a D2D Traveling Salesperson should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. They should also be self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
Requirements
- Sales experience: Previous sales experience, solar an asset. Door-to-door or field sales setting is highly preferred. Candidates with a proven track record of sales success are often preferred.
- Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role. The ability to connect with customers and build relationships is critical to success.
- Interpersonal skills: Sales representatives must be outgoing, personable, and able to build rapport with customers quickly. They should also be able to handle rejection and remain positive and upbeat in the face of adversity.
- Self-motivation, self-starters who take initiative and work independently. They should be able to develop and execute sales plans with minimal supervision.
- Time management skills: D2D sales representatives are often responsible for managing their own schedules and planning their own routes. Strong time management skills are essential for success.
