In 1983, the Westrow Food Group got its start selling fresh salads in the city of Vancouver. Building on this early success, in 1986 they expanded to include a popular line of Mexican foods. In 2005, Westrow purchased a reputable produce brokerage to expand our base of operations into this segment. Since then, Westrow’s client base has grown to encompass products in the main perimeter Fresh isles: Meat, Seafood, Deli, bakery, and Produce. Westrow Food Group is seeking candidates for the position of receptionist to join our team. Our Receptionist sets the tone for the guests visits with our world-class hospitality.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Coordinate the activities of co-workers to meet plant turnaround needs.
Maintain and record shift data.
Coordinate relief for breaks, lunch, and shift switchover.
Communication with other departments (Most frequently QA and Maintenance)
Perform all the department job functions as necessary.
Must speak fluent English; bilingualism is a plus.
Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management.
Employees must adhere to all policies, practices, and SOPs related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF).
Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities.
Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience in performing all functions in the specified area. A qualified candidate must possess leadership skills.
