We are a highly aggressive and growing material recycling and resale company in search of a Yard Operations Lead for our yards. We have yards located in North Vancouver, as well as Port Coquitlam.
Must have knowledge of, and be able to readily identify various earthworks, soils, concrete, and asphalt products. You will have knowledge of uses and applications for material once recycled and resold.
In this role you will - Direct yard staff, receive and assess inbound material, manage and direct material storage/handling, direct and coordinate truck load outs with dispatch and yard staff, collaborate with the scale personnel ensuring the correct recording of inbound/outbound materials.
Must be proficient in operating various sizes of excavators and equipment. This role requires you to learn quickly, be a driven, resourceful, and motivated self-starter, who is very organized and detail oriented.

Requirements
Familiarity and experience with various types of soils, aggregates, and combinations thereof
Experience operating equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dozers
Experience with managing and leading a staff up to 5 employees
