We are currently looking for a Cabinet Installer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. You must also possess an excellent understanding of shop drawings, machining amp; assembly methods with respect to joinery details. We are seeking hard-working, self-motivated craftsman to join our team. We're looking for cabinet makers, joiners, and installers to join our team. Applicants should enjoy working on complicated, high-end projects in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
• 5 years finish carpentry / joinery experience
• Class 5 Drivers License
Duties and responsibilities
• Read and interpret shop drawings
• Installation and modification of Millwork and Countertops
• Installation of Millwork wall panels
• Complete and submit all required documentation in an accurate and legible manner, including all supporting documents.
• Attend all division meetings and training sessions as required.
• Willing to do various tasks in downtime (delivery to site, material pick ups)
Knowledge skills and abilities
• Ability to demonstrate professional knowledge and use of in shop / onsite tools and equipment.
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Ability to work well alone or in a team environment.
Working Conditions
• Your time will be spent on jobsites throughout the Lower Mainland and in the fabrication shop.
• Employee provided CSA safety footwear must be worn at all times.
• This is an hourly position; rate is commensurate with experience.
• Some overtime may be required during peak business periods.
Schedule
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
