Job Summary
Arnett amp; Burgess is looking for a skilled Sandblasters and Coaters to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the following support;
- Operation of equipment and preparation of items for application of protective or coatings.
- Sandblasting various sizes of pipe for integrity projects.
- Understand amp; complete checklists amp; FLHA’S on various projects.
- Maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Weight handling up to 23kg (50lbs).
- Comfortable in work site environments with confined spaces, noise, dust, hot, fast-paced, and repetitive tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial sandblasting and coating with strong knowledge of coating and metal products.
- Ability to spray or coat with Airless, Plural and Conventional Pumps.
- NACE or SSPC Certification an asset.
- A team player with attention to detail, organization, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- All candidates are required to undergo and pass Drug amp; Alcohol screening as a condition of employment.
- Valid Driver’s License.
