About the position

We are currently looking for a Receptionist for our Surrey office. As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for Associa’s Surrey Office.

If you are a team player with a strong desire to learn and grow, great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask at a quick pace, and have a customer focus mindset, then you may be the right candidate for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally welcome and direct all visitors and guests
  • Efficiently answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Assist with special administrative projects
  • Screen incoming general messages within email and phone mail systems and distribute accordingly
  • Assist with mail handling per client and company policies
  • Ensure the lobby area is kept neat and clean at all times
  • Respond to online customer queries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock
  • Perform other clerical receptionist and administrative duties, as needed



Requirements

  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.)
  • Professional customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (phone systems, copiers, printers, etc.)
  • Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player
