About the position
We are currently looking for a Receptionist for our Surrey office. As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for Associa’s Surrey Office.
If you are a team player with a strong desire to learn and grow, great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask at a quick pace, and have a customer focus mindset, then you may be the right candidate for this position.
Responsibilities
- Professionally welcome and direct all visitors and guests
- Efficiently answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Assist with special administrative projects
- Screen incoming general messages within email and phone mail systems and distribute accordingly
- Assist with mail handling per client and company policies
- Ensure the lobby area is kept neat and clean at all times
- Respond to online customer queries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock
- Perform other clerical receptionist and administrative duties, as needed
Requirements
- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.)
- Professional customer service skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (phone systems, copiers, printers, etc.)
- Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player
