We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer with P.Eng certification to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC, ventilation, piping, utilities, Pamp;ID, food processing, AutoCAD, 3D Inventor, project start-up, commissioning, and customer onsite support.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop HVAC, ventilation, piping, and utility systems for food processing facilities.
- Create detailed Pamp;IDs and layouts for mechanical systems.
- Perform calculations and analysis for system design and sizing.
- Manage mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion
- Conduct site visits and provide on-site support to clients
- Manage project resources, including staff, equipment, and materials
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and departments
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers
- Ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations
- Conduct project start-up and commissioning activities
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates to management and clients

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- P.Eng certification in Ontario
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in food processing or related industries
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, piping, and utilities systems
- Experience with AutoCAD and 3D Inventor
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
- Self-motivated and reliable
