Data Engineer / Ingénieur de données (Remote)

Job Description
As a Data Engineer at GlobalVision, you will be maintaining and optimizing the foundation of GlobalVision’s full data infrastructure. We are in the early stages of our data adventure, but we are motivated to future-proof our infrastructure in order to 10x our culture of data-informed decision-making. We need someone who is a self-starter with strong technical skills to take ownership of our data.
The Day-to-Day- Collect, process, and store structured and unstructured data in a data warehouse via automated pipelines
- Manage the operations and maintenance of the BI data platform to ensure reliable BI services
- Maintain and update our product data structures alongside the development team.
- Collaborate with our information systems team to design the data structures from our CRM and ERP data sources
- Contribute to building data governance documentation and a culture of data literacy across the company
- Foster improvements to current processes, with a focus on increased efficiencies and enhanced value-added analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

- You have strong written communication skills (this is key to succeeding in an asynchronous workplace like ours).
- Knowledge of SQL, R OR Python.
- Experience with Salesforce architecture.
- Experience with Data visualization tools (Domo, Tableau, PowerBI, IBM Cognos Analytics, etc.).
- Experience in Data Analytics.
- Working knowledge of DBT, Stitch, and Domo software.
- Interest/experience in data mining, machine learning, statistical methods, AI, etc.
- Understand how data informs business impact in a B2B/SaaS environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Finance, or a relevant field.
Quebec candidates must be fluent in English and French. As an international company with clients, employees, and contractors located around the world, English is required to work with GlobalVision’s internal and external stakeholders.
