Job Description
Norwood Sawmills, a global leader in mobile sawmill technology, is seeking a Creative Media Specialist to join their team. The Creative Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing creative visual content across various digital platforms, including but not limited to social media, websites, and advertising campaigns. This role involves a blend of artistic creativity, technical proficiency, and strategic thinking to effectively communicate messages, enhance brand identity, and engage target audiences.

Advertisement amp; Print Design
- Conceptualize, design, and execute visually appealing and effective advertisements for both digital and traditional media alongside Brand and Paid Media.
- Collaborate with Brand and Marketing team to develop creative concepts that align with campaign objectives and target audience preferences. Including email, web, and paid ads.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to innovate new ways to visually tell the Norwood story and expand our marketing efforts.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure our design efforts remain innovative and effective.
- Other projects on an adhoc basis.
Social Media
- Collaborate with Brand to maintain and grow our presence on various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.
- Assist with the development and implementation of our social media content calendars primarily but not limited to design and video production work. (Ex. owned content, reformatting UGC, curating content for advertising and organic use, editing videos, etc.)
- Stay up to date with design and video trends for social content.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of proven experience in graphic design, content creation, and social media marketing.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, social media management platforms, and content creation software.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, trends, and best practices
- Excellent creative and visual thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools to track and measure campaign success.
- Experience with video editing, 3D renders, and motion graphics is an asset.
