Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic International Marketing Senior Manager with a strong background in the beverage industry to lead our marketing efforts in Canada (Based in Toronto). The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in driving successful marketing campaigns within the beverage sector. This role will focus on Trade Marketing, Local Activations, Sponsorship Activations, Field and Sampling Activations, and Events Marketing to enhance Congo Brand's visibility and engagement within the Canadian market.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Trade Marketing:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive trade marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive sales in collaboration with key partners and distributors.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth within the trade sector.
  • Create compelling promotional materials, presentations, and product information to support trade marketing initiatives.

2. Local Activations:

  • Design and implement localized marketing campaigns that resonate with the diverse Canadian audience and regional preferences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with overall brand objectives and messaging.
  • Monitor campaign performance, gather insights, and optimize strategies to maximize engagement and impact.

3. Sponsorship Activations:

  • Develop and manage sponsorship partnerships that align with the brand's values and resonate with the target audience.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and measurement of sponsorship activation campaigns to ensure strong brand integration and customer engagement.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, partners, and event organizers.

4. Field and Sampling Activations:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of field marketing and sampling activities to create personal connections with consumers and drive product adoption.
  • Develop innovative strategies for product demonstrations, testings, and experiential marketing to enhance brand loyalty and awareness.

5. Events Marketing:

  • Lead the development and execution of event marketing strategies, including trade shows, conferences, and consumer-facing events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create memorable event experiences that align with brand values and objectives.
  • Evaluate event ROI and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience of 8+ years in marketing within the beverage industry, with a focus on trade marketing, activations, sponsorships, and events.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian market, consumer preferences, and cultural nuances.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and use insights to refine strategies
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams.
