Norwood Sawmills, a global leader in mobile sawmill technology, is seeking an SEM and Lead Generation Specialist to join their team. The SEM and Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing paid search campaigns, as well as other online marketing initiatives to generate high-quality leads and increase conversion rates. This role requires a deep understanding of search engine marketing, digital advertising platforms, and lead generation techniques.

Responsibilities
Search Engine Marketing and Execution
- Create, manage, and optimize PPC campaigns across various platforms.
- Perform keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords.
- Monitor and adjust bid strategies to achieve desired ROI and performance goals.
- Perform A/B testing and other optimization strategies to refine ad performance.
- Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports.
- Identify opportunities for campaign expansion and improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in search engine advertising.
- Manage budgets and allocate funds effectively across campaigns.
- Collaborate with web team to optimize landing pages for better ad relevance and user experience.
- Utilize conversion tracking tools to measure the success of campaigns.

- Conduct competitive analysis to identify areas for differentiation.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of our digital marketing strategy, leveraging insights from campaigns.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to identify innovative approaches for reaching target audiences and achieving business goals.
SEO and Web Traffic Enhancement
- Work closely with the SEO team to optimize landing pages and website content for improved organic and paid search performance.
- Use data-driven insights to suggest improvements to website user experience and conversion paths.
Analytics and Reporting
- Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of paid media campaigns.
- Provide detailed performance reports, highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose strategies for enhancing campaign outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Search Engine Marketing and Lead Generation or similar role.
- Proficiency in Google Ads and other PPC advertising platforms.
- Familiarity with ad targeting options, bidding strategies, and campaign settings.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive optimization.
- Excellent written communication skills for creating compelling ad copy.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Certifications such as Google Ads or Bing Ads are an asset.
- Experience with display advertising and remarketing is a bonus.
- Knowledge of paid media campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok is an advantage.
- Experience with Google Analytics and other reporting tools
