Our Burlington location has an immediate opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team!

Working with the Sales Team, the successful candidate will be expected to develop and improve interaction and relationships between our customers and business to provide exceptional service.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to general inquiries from the public and/or customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Develop business via phone and e-mail on a regular basis.
  • Prepare sales orders and accurately record client information in Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Process and follow up on inquiries, quotations, special pricing amp; sales orders.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with purchasing, scheduling, and plant management to control inventory and prioritize mill activity to meet customer requirements.
  • Recommend appropriate stock levels and monitor to ensure delivery compliance.
  • Prepare sales forecasting.
  • Maintain close working relationships with credit, transportation, and shipping departments.
  • Assist customers in resolving claims by facilitating communication with the Quality amp; Assurance department.
  • Communicate to management any commercial information such as competitive pricing, market participation, and industry changes.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective problem solver while exhibiting good judgment and responsibility in their decision-making approach.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask
  • Strong written and oral business communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Team player, ability to work effectively with both outside sales representatives as well as inside teammates to drive individual as well as corporate success.
