This is a remote opportunity within Canada.
This position will be for 4 months - January 2024 to April 2024.What you can expect:
- Build and maintain CI/CD tools to help engineers move faster, QA teams drive quality, and deliver software to millions of people
- Instrument and evaluate our CI/CD systems to identify bottlenecks, flaky pipelines, and other issues then work to improve these systems
- Deliver automation to increase velocity of releases
- Collaborate with an awesome team of build engineers to release products that millions of people entrust with their most important information
What we're looking for:
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Python, Powershell, Bash, or comparable scripting languages
- Confidence: A willingness to take on new challenges, and see them through to completion.
- Curiosity: You look for better ways of doing things, even if everyone seems happy with how they are.
- Teamwork: We work together, and succeed as a team!
Bonus points for:
- Experience with maintaining and deploying updated toolchains across a variety CI pipelines
- Knowledge of Make or similar build automation tooling
- Understanding of different platforms’ (e.g. macOS, Linux, and Windows) packaging scheme
