We are looking for a Financial Advisor in our Lacombe branch!
Compensation is based on experience and education: $50,850 - $71,091 per annum base salary.

As a Financial Advisor you are driven to develop your knowledge and technical expertise so you can confidently deliver all financial products, including lending and investments. You educate our members, using wealth management and debt management concepts, and identify opportunities to refer or sell additional products and services. Most importantly, you'll develop long term relationships with members, building trust and delivering customized financial solutions, ensuring success for our members, the branch, and Servus.
You are ready to meet members in a coffee shop, a restaurant or even where they work! You simply pick up your tablet and meet them where they are. Members love the convenience of having their Financial Advisor come to them and you enjoy getting out of the office.
More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Passionate about sales and referral targets
- Develop new business by identifying opportunities through networking and community involvement. while maintaining Servus' positive image in the community
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills and engaging members in conversations to finding out their immediate needs and reimagine their financial fitness
- Educate yourself about the local market and economic trends
- Adhering to all audits, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks of fraud or loss
- Providing outstanding member experience by adhering to Servus' best practices
- Contributing to Servus' unparalleled culture of teamwork, positivity, and collaboration
Requirements
To qualify, you will need at least 2 years of retail banking or related financial industry experience, preferably in sales or customer service and a high school diploma.
Although not required, the following education/certificates are valuable assets:
- Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)
- Investment Funds in Canada Course amp; License (IFIC)
- Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA)
- Financial Planning I (FP1)
