As a crucial member of our technical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of vehicle safety systems after collision repairs. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for automotive technology and a desire to grow in the field of calibration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic Analysis: Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments of vehicle safety systems, identifying calibration needs post-collision repair.
  • Calibration Procedures: Execute calibration procedures for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including cameras, radar, LIDAR, and sensors.
  • Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain calibration tools and equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety guidelines.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed records of calibration activities, ensuring accurate documentation for quality control and compliance purposes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technicians, estimators, and other team members to communicate calibration requirements and ensure seamless integration into the repair process.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve calibration issues, collaborating with senior specialists when necessary.
  • Stay Informed: Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturer specifications related to calibration processes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

Required

  • Basic understanding of automotive safety systems and ADAS technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred

  • Automotive knowledge.
  • IT knowledge, Technical education or certification in automotive technology.
  • Hands-on experience with calibration tools and equipment.
  • Willingness to learn in a forward-thinking innovative space.

Wages starting at $50,000 to $60,000
