As a crucial member of our technical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of vehicle safety systems after collision repairs. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for automotive technology and a desire to grow in the field of calibration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Analysis: Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments of vehicle safety systems, identifying calibration needs post-collision repair.
- Calibration Procedures: Execute calibration procedures for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including cameras, radar, LIDAR, and sensors.
- Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain calibration tools and equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety guidelines.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of calibration activities, ensuring accurate documentation for quality control and compliance purposes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technicians, estimators, and other team members to communicate calibration requirements and ensure seamless integration into the repair process.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve calibration issues, collaborating with senior specialists when necessary.
- Stay Informed: Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturer specifications related to calibration processes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Required
- Basic understanding of automotive safety systems and ADAS technologies.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred
- Automotive knowledge.
- IT knowledge, Technical education or certification in automotive technology.
- Hands-on experience with calibration tools and equipment.
