Job Description

Blackline Safety is looking for a Customer Marketing Managerto spearhead our customer marketing strategy. This pivotal role involves orchestrating programs to boost renewals, referrals and sales opportunities (cross-sell/up-sell). Working in tandem with our Client Success team, you will shape our customer communication tactics, driving forward-thinking customer engagement and retention initiatives. An ideal candidate possesses a strong passion for serving and understanding customers, an appetite for fostering customer relationships, and is eager to elevate our customer advocacy and engagement efforts while contributing to our brands strength and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Client Success and Marketing to source and showcase customer success via case studies, video testimonials and PR activities.
  • Lead the Blackline Collective program, managing customer-oriented events, initiatives and award programs to strengthen relationships and enhance customer experiences. Creating memorable experiences that deepen our customer relationships and offering opportunities for participation that are beneficial to them.
  • Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns targeting customer retention and expansion, and support Client Success with sales enablement tools.
  • Produce customer success stories and testimonial to demonstrate client satisfaction and value.
  • Drive customer renewal strategies by promoting supportive behavior through various customer support channels and product engagement.
  • Facilitate the collection of customer feedback to inform product teams.
  • Quickly and efficiently respond to internal stakeholder requests for customer references to support activities such as prospect calls, RFPs, speaking opportunities, analyst reports, investor relations activities and more.
  • Regularly communicate success metrics and insights for improvement

Qualifications and Skills

  • A diploma or degree in related field (Marketing, Business, Communications, etc.) or directly related experience.
  • 5 to 7 years' experience in Corporate Marketing, Program Management, Communications or Public Relations.
  • Experience with a customer reference or advocacy program is a plus.
  • Previous experience in B2B technology and SaaS industry
  • An excellent storyteller with the ability to pull forward customer value.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Experience working at a medium to large-sized business and with cross-functional teams.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada or the United States. Our head office is in Calgary, AB and our team works business hours in the Mountain time zone.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation systems and CRM (preferably HubSpot) are a plus
