Job Description
Voyago is hiring Transit Dispatcher - Temporary Contract for our Woodstock location.
Your Role
This is a temporary part time one-year contract position from February 2024 to April 2025.
- Responsible for dispatching drivers, and can provide solutions and/or alternative routing for drivers.
- Assisting with administrative tasks and providing a high degree of customer service in a fast-paced work environment.
- Schedule new bookings and coordinate with drivers regarding changes
- Utilize radio to communicate effectively with all on route drivers
- Identify all drivers active on routes are on time to ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage and pull a variety of reports as per the managers directive
- Answer phones, and email correspondence in a professional and courteous manner
- Take responsibility for the Emergency Response Plan in the event of a serious collision
- Shift required: Monday - Wednesday 1500 - 1900 and every other Saturday 0845 - 1900
Requirements
Your Profile
- You can obtain a clean criminal record search and/or vulnerable sector screening
- You have excellent customer service skills
- You have a sound knowledge of Woodstock and surrounding area
- You have excellent time management, organizational skills
- You possess strong communication skills
- You are proficient in computer software experience in MS Office (Word amp; Excel), MS Teams
- You possess some dispatch experience in related field
