About the Role

We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our People Operations team for a 12-month maternity leave replacement. You will play a crucial role in supporting the day to day operations of the People team, ensuring the smooth operation of our processes and contributing to the overall success of Flinks.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Talent Acquisition amp; Onboarding
    • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to find amazing talent.
    • Responsible for the full cycle recruitment process across all teams (anywhere from tech to sales roles).
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Performance Management
    • Facilitate performance and compensation rituals to support talent planning and career development
    • Focus on continuous improvement of our new performance management program
  • Employee Relations
    • Address employee concerns and inquiries and find opportunities to improve.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of People policies as needed.
  • HR Data Management
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in BambooHR.
    • Generate reports and analyze People data to support decision-making.

Who You Are

  • 1-3 years of experience in HR (ideally in a Generalist role or with a specialization in Performance Management)
  • Self-driven and able to ruthlessly prioritize work and adapt based on business needs
  • Able to organize and interpret people data
  • Excel at building trusting partnerships across the business and effectively advise leaders
  • Knowledgeable about HR programs and practices, including applicable province/state and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Does not shy away from a challenge, learns from experience, and is able to respond quickly to changing priorities

Nice to Haves

  • Able to communicate effectively in French
