Through our foodservice technology system, we help operators across healthcare and aging services save time, reduce food waste, and meet regulatory requirements, so they can improve the quality of patient and resident care.
We’re looking for a Director, IT amp; Infrastructure to join the MealSuite team. Reporting to the VP, Business Operations, you’ll be responsible for managing internal IT to support our workforce, hybrid infrastructure and security for both internal and customer-facing SaaS systems. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our infrastructure and drive innovation, efficiency, and security.
A day in the life as Director, IT amp; Infrastructure:
- Manage internal IT operations, including the IT helpdesk function
- Analyze business requirements in partnership with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs and see them through to delivery
- Work closely with Engineering teams to plan capacity, technology roadmaps amp; security processes to minimize risk and meet audit requirements
- Scale the company’s IT systems and processes as we continue to grow; assess the practicality and scalability of new and existing systems as you develop roadmaps for various functions and shape the future of MealSuite's IT strategy
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to your team of direct reports and contribute to an engaged and security-oriented environment
- Develop metrics to track team performance amp; success
If the below describe your knowledge, experience and character, then this role could be for you:
- I have extensive knowledge of IT systems and security, gained through 10+ years of professional experience
- I have at least 3 years of experience supporting engineering organizations in the deployment and support of SaaS applications
- I have strong knowledge of multiple IT domains, including networking, data storage, security, and hardware
- I’m extra passionate about security and business continuity and have experience with audit compliance frameworks (e.g. SOC 2 or similar)
- I have a proven ability to deliver large-scale solutions and have successfully implemented new systems and processes
- I thoroughly understand the differences between internal security programs and SaaS security programs
- I’m willing to occasionally travel and have a valid passport and no travel restrictions that limit my ability to cross the border between Canada and the USA
- I thrive in an agile environment that is constantly changing and encourages team members to collectively collaborate and communicate
- I love to be directly involved in projects and initiatives that offer continued learning and endless opportunity to express my ideas and build my leadership skills
