Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst (FPamp;A) will be a key contributor to our business strategy, with a primary focus on in-depth financial analysis. We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in business partnering, variance analysis, and a strong commitment to delivering meticulous financial insight.What you'll do:
  • Business Partnering:
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and provide financial insights for decision-making.
  • Act as a strategic partner to department heads, leveraging financial analysis to support and influence business strategies.
  • Monthly Financial Performance Metrics and Variance Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough variance analysis, identifying and interpreting key drivers of financial performance.
  • Proactively address budget and forecast discrepancies, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Led the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports, delivering comprehensive insights into performance trends to the Executive Leadership Team
  • Utilize advanced modeling techniques to enhance the accuracy and depth of monthly reports.
  • Special Projects:
  • Represent the business as the finance partner for special projects, contributing analysis and insight to support decision-making and project success.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure financial considerations are integrated into strategic initiatives.
What you'll bring;
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in reporting, ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and ambitious mindset, constantly seeking opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial analysis methodologies and tools.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, specializing in FPamp;A functions.
  • Exceptional proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $75,000 - 100,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
