We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.
***Weekend coverage required along with weekdays***
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the protection of people, property, facilities, and information
- Maintain surveillance of surrounding area and report suspicious activity
- Strong ability to de-escalate situations and be able to handle individuals that need to be removed from the property
- Perform detailed and diligent patrols
- Ability to handle emergency alarms in a quick manner (e.g., Fire Alarms, etc.)
- Observe and report daily activities and irregularities to appropriate personnel
- Ensure that all safety and emergency procedures are followed
- Work with local police service
- Draft reports
- Coordinate with internal departments if incase of emergency or an accident
- Responsible for providing accident reports or video screen to Safety team in case of any accident
- Assist in carrying out Emergency Response Plans in the event of an actual crisis.
- Electronically maintain accurate and complete security records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must hold and maintain valid applicable Security Guard License and First Aid amp; CPR Certification
- Minimum 2 years of G license driving experience required with clean abstract.
- Minimum of 1 year of tactical security experience in large venue settings in a team environment
- Valid Use of Force Hand-cuffing Certification would be an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills while being alert and detail oriented
- Ability to exercise vigilance and multitask is required (Ability to prioritize, remain calm and multi-task under pressure in a dynamic environment)
- Ability to de-escalate and diffuse challenging situations and successfully resolve customer issues in a diplomatic and professional manner
- Computer/ tech savvy and adapt to new software's quickly
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal English
- Strong decision-making ability shows good judgment and confidence

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
