8Twelve Mortgage, a leading mortgage brokerage in Canada, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team. About the Role:
We are looking for a QA Specialist with a strong background in automation testing to ensure the highest quality standards for our Infin8 platform. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing, executing, and maintaining software test plans, and will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute detailed test cases, scripts, and suites to ensure product quality.
- Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Utilize tools like Katalon (or similar automation testing tools) for efficient test case execution.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify, document, and resolve defects.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and potential issues.
- Monitor and report on software quality metrics.
- Stay updated with new testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA automation testing.
- Strong experience with automation testing tools such as Katalon, Selenium, or similar.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
