Job Description

Employment Status: Part time (20 hours per week minimum) This location is open Monday to Saturday, the successful candidate must have full flexibility to work all hours of the location.
Compensation: $22.90 to $28.03 per hour (based on experience)

Servus is growing rapidly in the Calgary market! We are currently looking for a Member Service Advisor at our Seton Branch opening in the City of Calgary in the spring of 2024.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, your primary goal is to effectively respond to member inquiries by maintaining a high level of knowledge relating to our products and services, manage traffic flow within the branch, aid members, and complete a variety of administrative tasks effectively and efficiently.
More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales and referral goals.
- Enthusiastically participate in and assist in the creation of corporate and branch campaigns, and marketing/business development plans.
- Identify, solicit, and close sales opportunities; offer appropriate Servus products and services to members in response to stated needs, as well as in response to clues indicating unstated needs.
- Build member confidence, loyalty, and trust through the delivery of superior personalized service and the referral or sale of customized financial solutions.
- Direct telephone and in branch traffic flow to ensure that member needs are met in a timely manner. Welcome members who arrive for appointments and manage branch calendar.
- Recognize and celebrate team successes.
Requirements
To qualify, you must have customer service experience, proven sales experience, cash-handling experience, and a high school diploma.
Although not required, the following are valuable assets:
- Previous experience working with a Financial Institution
- Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)
Most importantly, we are looking for candidates with enthusiastic energy and impeccable communication skills who are effortless in building rapport with our members.
