We have a rare opportunity for a Design Drafter to join our growing team!
We are looking for someone who:

- Produces accurate work and has a high level of technical expertise.
- Thrives in building close, lasting professional relationships with peers.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls, using computer-assisted drafting equipment.
- Produce three-dimensional models using CAD software.
- Lay out and draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines.
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
Requirements
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a design / manufacturing environment.
- Degree, diploma from a recognized institution, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge / understanding and demonstrable application of manufacturing drafting (control, methods, automation) and processes.
- Knowledge / understanding of technical writing of manufacturing documents.
- Knowledge / understanding of small engine components (mechanical and electrical).
- 2D and 3D software experience (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
