POSITION PURPOSE:
NetNation is seeking a Product Manager to guide the evolution of our Product Portfolio including various product lines such as Domain Registration amp; Email solutions and Paper Cuts initiatives. This role will proactively solicit both existing and prospective customer feedback and continually research our competitors to determine the optimal price / feature combination for all of the products in their portfolio. When additional features or solutions are required, they will document the requirements for these solutions and work closely with our Ramp;D team throughout the development process to ensure new products and solutions are exceeding the expectations of our customers.
The right candidate will have an inner entrepreneurial drive and a passion for delivering an excellent value and customer experience. Since this position will be fully accountable for the overall profitability of all products in their portfolio, in depth understanding of business concepts such as gross margin analysis, forecasting, and contract negotiations are a must, along with technical prowess with email technologies and market trends.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain the official product catalog for all current Domain Registration amp; Email solutions, including the variety of different Top Level Domains (TLD) offered through our brands, Domain Auctioning Services, etc.
· Proactively monitor vendor relationships and participate in business review meetings to ensure NetNation gets the most value from each vendor/partnership
· Work with customer service, accounting, operations, and support to ensure that all aspects of the customer experience, provisioning amp; fulfillment, billing, and technical support are running smoothly and collaborate with department heads to optimize processes as needed.
· Continually research competitors, market trends, and new technologies to ensure our suite of services is always one step ahead.
· Lead the effort to develop unique differentiators that enhance the value of our packages and set us apart from competitors.
· Take the initiative to develop new solutions whenever a gap or opportunity exists within the product portfolio and work collaboratively with the development team throughout the product development lifecycle.
· Act as an internal advocate for customers, championing their needs and representing their interests at all meetings and internal discussions.
· Maintain other products from the product portfolio as assigned and participate in significant partner and customer acquisition opportunities as the company’s principal subject matter expert
· Assist with all aspects of the product life cycle by creating and collaborating with marketing, operations and development teams
· Ensure that all product related information presented to customers whether in support documentation, or in system generated e-mails, or in the on-line order form is accurate, concise, and compelling.
Be a powerful advocate and thought leader by representing assigned product lines and channels in webinars, speaking engagements at industry events and blog contributions.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Vital for the position is technical and business knowledge of Domain Registrations.
· Preferably, 1-2 years of lead and/or management experience in a Registrar and/or hosting services company with a proven track record of success.
