Employment Status: Part time (20 hours per week minimum) This location is open Monday to Saturday, the successful candidate must have full flexibility to work all hours of the location.

Compensation: $22.43 to $29.72 per hour (based on experience)

Servus is growing rapidly in the Calgary market! We are currently looking for a Member Service Advisor at our Crowfoot Branch in the City of Calgary.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your primary goal is to effectively respond to member inquiries by maintaining a high level of knowledge relating to our products and services, manage traffic flow within the branch, aid members, and complete a variety of administrative tasks effectively and efficiently.

More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales and referral goals.
  • Enthusiastically participate in and assist in the creation of corporate and branch campaigns, and marketing/business development plans.
  • Identify, solicit, and close sales opportunities; offer appropriate Servus products and services to members in response to stated needs, as well as in response to clues indicating unstated needs.
  • Build member confidence, loyalty, and trust through the delivery of superior personalized service and the referral or sale of customized financial solutions.
  • Direct telephone and in branch traffic flow to ensure that member needs are met in a timely manner. Welcome members who arrive for appointments and manage branch calendar.
  • Recognize and celebrate team successes.

Requirements

To qualify, you must have customer service experience, proven sales experience, cash-handling experience, and a high school diploma.

Although not required, the following are valuable assets:

  • Previous experience working with a Financial Institution
  • Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)
