Salary: $37 - $45/hour based on experience. OT paid out after 40 hours at 1.5 x hourly rate. Sundays or stats paid at 2 x hourly rate. 3% Employer Matching RRSP.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and Installation:
- Execute electrical builds and installations for various industrial automation solutions.
- Utilize hand tools such as drivers, bits, cutters, and knives effectively and safely.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues within electrical pneumatic systems and machine building processes.
- Ensure operational efficiency and safety of all installations.
Project Management and Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with project teams to plan and implement installation projects.
- Communicate project statuses, challenges, and outcomes clearly and concisely.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to the Ontario Electrical Code and BOS Innovations' safety standards.
- Conduct detailed checks for accuracy and compliance in all tasks.
Requirements
ABOUT YOU:
Education and Experience:
- 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrical License and 5 years’ experience or
- 442A Industrial Electrical License and 5 years’ experience
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems and machine building processes, including familiarity with robotics, PLC, distributed I/O systems, sensors etc
- Good working knowledge of Ontario Electrical Code
- Thorough understanding of various styles of electrical schematics
- Ability to travel for installation purposes
- Ability to cross the border with a valid passport
- Willingness to volunteer for overtime hours at critical stages of the project
