We’re on a quest to find a Sales and Marketing Co-Op Student to help support our sales and marketing in solar-powered autonomous boats.

As a Sales amp; Marketing CO-OP Student, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales, service, project, and marketing teams.

Your responsibilities will include account management, maintaining customer relationship management (Monday.com, CRM), proposal and invoice preparation, and contributing to the entire sales administration process. This candidate not only brings practical experiences but also integrates academic knowledge gained from relevant coursework, aligning their education with real-world applications in business and management.

As a Sales and Marketing CO-OP Student, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales, service, and marketing teams. Your responsibilities will include account management, proposal and invoice preparation, customer relationship management (CRM), and contributing to the entire sales administration process. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth in the new blue economy.

  • Work collaboratively with sales, service, and marketing teams to develop new prospects and manage the entire sales cycle.
  • Assist in maintaining the CRM and ensure proactive customer and channel partner engagement and timely follow-up across all markets for Sales and Service pursuits.
  • Collaborate with both sales and service teams to achieve successful outcomes and foster customer engagement.
  • Assist in preparing quotations and contribute to proposal submission and invoicing processes.
  • Engage in on-the-job learning, technical training, and exposure to leadership activities to develop professional skills.
  • Attend cross-functional meetings and information sessions to gain an understanding of each department's role within the organization.

Skills amp; Qualifications

    • Enrolled in and completed 2 years of a business degree with a focus on Marketing at a recognized post-secondary University
    • Valid Driver’s license
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate scientific and technical information in a clear and understandable manner
    • Adaptable and enthusiastic about a start-up environment which includes wearing multiple hats, implementing new systems and striving for a shared goal
    • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
