Main responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the Canadian territory
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share within assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and drive repeat business
  • Identify and prospect new customers, including sleep clinics, hospitals, medical practices, and healthcare facilities, through cold calling, networking, and other lead-generation activities. Maintained customer information in the company's Customer relationship management systems
  • Conduct product presentations, and demonstrations, to showcase the features and benefits of our portfolio of products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and technical issues promptly and effectively
  • Represent all product offerings, including sleep diagnostic capital equipment, associated consumable products, and software solutions
  • Maintain an expert level of industry knowledge related to Sleep Medicine
  • Attend trade-related conferences and educational seminars both local to your region and, in some cases, nationally.
  • Contribute beyond selling and customer relation duties by offering product feedback from the field and helping the development team with next-generation product input
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the product development team, conveying customer requirements and preferences to inform the development of next-generation products
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer support to address customer needs and enhance product offerings

Requirements

  • More than 5 years experience in the medical device industry, sleep diagnostics preferred
  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. degree in business, clinical studies, or sciences is highly desirable
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Intercultural communication skills
  • Have a high aptitude for learning new technology and clinical-related science
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to overcome and handle objections effectively.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a high degree of initiative and drive.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory as needed (approximately 50-75% travel).
