Subjects
Lethbridge School Division is seeking a dynamic Teacher Counsellor who will be responsible to support multiple schools within our division, from kindergarten to grade 12, while reporting to the Counselling Coordinator. This position will work in consultation with our schools to be proactively supporting the wellness of our school communities and offering Social Emotional Learning (SEL) guidance. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable, flexible and a strong team player who:
- Has experience with wellness or counselling in a school setting.
- Has a Master of Counselling or related degree (considered an asset).
- Has been trained in VTRA (preferred).
Requirements
- Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate;
- Successful teaching experience is necessary
