Job Description
The Winnipeg Football Club is looking for a hands-on professional who is committed to helping fans make memories with the highest quality food and customer service. As a prep team member, you will assist in preparation and production of a various amounts of food while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
What you will do:
- Ensure that all policies, procedures and practices are adhered to, including compliance with food handling / sanitation guidelines, general safety policies and procedures.
- Assisting in helping train cooks who may need some extra guidance in proper production.
- Ensure quality of products is being met while food is being prepared amp; rotating food product to reduce spoilage.
- Responsible for helping complete all prep amp; tasks are required for a game day.
- Assisting in setting up and breaking down of concessions.
- Oversee the sanitation of work stations including floors, worktables, walls, refrigerators, equipment and utensils.
- Oversee the cooking and preparation of food items for the day according to recipes and brand requirements.
- Any other tasks as assigned
Requirements
Must Haves
- Knowledgeable in operating foodservice equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues.
- A valid food handlers certificate or are will to obtain one
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability and willingness to work all Bomber games
- Constant standing, bending, reaching, lifting and repetitive motions.
