Job Overview

The Eamp;E - Wealth Management team is on the lookout for a .NET Developer with not only the skills to succeed, but a positive attitude and genuine enjoyment of being part of the team. If working on projects implementing new applications, maintaining existing systems, figuring out how to get diverse systems to work together, and solving complex problems sounds exciting then we would love to hear from you!

Primary focus

The position is part of a team responsible for implementing, maintaining and supporting a variety of wealth related applications. The .NET Developer will be working with business representatives, project managers, project analysts, solution architects, and other development team members to identify business requirements, create system specifications and present solutions using appropriate technologies.

Responsibilities for .Net Developer

  • Write clean, scalable code using C#
  • Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding in the .NET ecosystem
  • Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture
  • Use and adapt existing web applications for apps
  • A good understanding of unit testing and integration testing
  • Develop client displays and user interfaces
  • Assist software personnel in handling project related work and other requirements
  • Coordinate with other software professionals and developers

Requirements

Accreditations

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent

Core Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns
  • 6+ years of development experience, in a corporate environment, using C# and .NET
  • Familiarity with Restful Web Services (Web API), Web Forms (legacy), and Blazor
  • Ability to identify and use 3rd party components to meet requirements both nuget packages and cloud platform features
  • Working with CI/CD tools like TeamCity and Octopus; or other tools like Jenkins or GitLab pipelines.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Able to work well in a team setting

Nice to Have:

  • Full stack programming frameworking amp; languages
  • SQL Server and SSIS
