Leader: VP, EFS Operations amp; Enablement

As ATB’s next Director of Business Architecture, you will identify and prioritize the business capabilities required to enable the EFS business strategy. You will work collaboratively across the enterprise to ensure strategic alignment and serve as the bridge between multiple stakeholders to represent Everyday Financial Services (EFS) priorities while identifying financial benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Business Architecture Practice and center of excellence for ATB as a consumer of business strategy, journeys and client experience.
  • Develop a Roadmap of Business Capabilities to enable the EFS strategy over the next 3-5 years.
  • Manage the in-take process in EFS for all new initiatives to ensure they align to the business architecture, the business plan and overarching strategy - working closely with the EFS Strategy Council.
  • Create a collaborative and transparent bridge between the Business and Client Experience amp; Technology (CXT) ensuring that there is alignment, understanding and acceptance of the EFS business architecture.
  • Work collaboratively with Technology Architects to guide solutions to support business needs.
  • Continue to identify, create and support Value Streams that drive EFS business metrics.
  • Develop high level business case benefits to support value streams and prioritization - supported by enterprise strategy and values.
  • Provide high level requirements to business analysts when introducing roadmap capabilities into projects. Serving as a guide for analysts to write detailed business requirements.
  • Maintain and evolve the EFS in-take process for continuous improvement to make it easier for project initiators, to not lose sight of valuable ideas, and to ensure strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Find ways to drive purposeful innovation to support the EFS.
