The Training amp; Development Coordinator will provide oversight of services to the training team with the responsibility to own and execute the administrative and operational processes that create an excellent participant training experience.
What you’ll be doing:
Develop learning materials with guidance from the Training Practice Lead
- Partake in content design calls and investigation of learning needs.
- Create and refresh learning materials including electronic/printed workbooks, toolkits, activity sheets, and slide-packs.
- Research and compile information on hot topics in human resources, leadership, management, and personal effectiveness at work
- Develop eye-catching, meaningful, and on-brand presentations with a high-level of attention
to detailand experiential learning.
Foster the learner experience and keep the learning alive post-sessions.
- Recording management including edit/trimming as required
- Post-session follow-up and project close-out
- Gather and report on the evaluation of the effectiveness of training and learning programs(ex: The Kirkpatrick Model)
Assist with the management of classroom logistics (virtual and in-person)
- Set up virtual rooms with polling, surveys, registration, etc.
- Assist with running back-end platform as a technology pilot.
- Liaise with clients for on-site training to ensure an effective in-person classroom set up
Administration and coordination duties
- Schedule learning events with all pertinent details
- Keep accurate logs of training events/pipeline projects and adjust as needed.
- Personality, behavioral and 360-feedback assessment management
- Take a lead role in the management and optimization of our digital learning platform (Learning Management System - MaxPeople Learning Academy)
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field is required.
- 1-3 years experience in Education, Adult Learning and/or Learning and Development Profession/Industry is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills are critical to the success of this role.
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS/LMS, PowerPoint, Outlook, Restream and MS TEAMs
and Zoom.

- Confidence in communicating with individuals at a variety of levels within an organization.
- Strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently to drive results.
