We are looking for an Accounting Coordinator who will work closely with Management to support various financial activities and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the company's accounting activities, including those related to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with CRA regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Liaise and coordinate with CRA as needed
  • Assist in analyzing financial data, including revenue, expenses, and budget variances.
  • Support the development and maintenance of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, including senior management and department heads.
  • Maintain and organize financial databases, spreadsheets, and other documentation.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across various financial systems and reports.
  • Maintain records and ensure timely payment of bills, insurance, salaries and other payables.
  • Coordinate with other department heads to consolidate budgets and ensure timely payments
  • Document all Finance-related processes and systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in finance or related field (internship experience may be considered)
  • Good understanding of financial concepts and principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks Online and CRA Represent A Client
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
