Job Description

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Samsung.com, the ecommerce Manager,
Ecommerce Platforms is responsible for managing Samsung.com e-Commerce & commerce Hub (platform side). This includes planning and execution of e-Commerce Site functional platform development, content management, content development, new product launches, sales and promotion planning, marketing, inventory monitoring, marketing budget management and partner management.
The Incumbent will also develop and manage merchandising strategies, supporting any needed platform enhancements to accommodate enhancements such as reviews, FAQ, current communications on .Com and UX improvements driven by data. Identify opportunities to acquire new customers across all available channels to support the achievement of relevant KPIs.
In parallel, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and reporting on performance related KPIs while supporting ad-hoc requests from internal & HQ along and on-boarding new product categories on Samsung.com e-commerce platform.
The e-Commerce Platform Manager is required to work closely with many key stakeholders across the organization and also is able to work with minimal supervision to manage all required tasks.

Role and Responsibilities

E-Commerce Platform Development & Management

Manage Hybris (e-Commerce platform) for SECA. Responsibilities include daily update & trouble shoot consumer-facing front-end web elements as well as ensuring the back-end system processes are functioning.

Manage relationships with e-Commerce partners: Accenture, iQmetrix, OSL, commerceHub, Marketplace such as eBay, Shopify, or Amazon, etc. and HQ as it pertains to system & process operations.

Work with Content Specialist as they operate the CMS backend to update SHOP landing page, Category pages, PDP and Campaign pages.

Responsible for platform enhancement projects development and shop strategy including B2B site platform enhancements as well as EPP expanded functionality (e.g.: direct site links)Collaborate with e-commerce operations team and HQ team to submit, review and approve enhancements to the platform. Manage enhancement proposals, testing and launch.

Primary point of contact for HQ Platform team for new platform developments to the Samsung.com site as well as any troubleshooting escalations. Manage platform escalations and work with global teams to resolve according to SLA.

New Product Launch:

Responsible for managing the relationship between the e-Commerce team and other internal stakeholders (Marketing, PM, Legal, SES), to lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches and promotional campaigns for any platform related enhancements.

Platform Merchandising

Implement site enhancements based on success of CRO/PZN successful tests.

Manage Digital Media agencies executing performance marketing activities striving for Year CRV rate improvements

Manage Regular and ad-hoc analysis and reporting

Omni-channel Platform Management:

Manage the operations of our Endless Aisle applications in SES locations as well as the Reserve Online Pick Up in Store functionality on Samsung.com.

Ensure consistency across platforms and manage weekly reports to optimize performance.

Manage price promotions on Samsung.com to ensure timeliness and consistency with SES stores for a seamless Omni-channel presence.

Job Specification

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or related field

Knowledge:

Demonstrated project management skills

Expert in Graphic Design Background (Adobe Photoshop)

Expert in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and proficiency with Online Analytical Processing
(i.e. Omniture & Google analytics)

The ability to manage multiple key priorities and strong attention to detail is required

Online marketing and analysis preferred

Highly developed communication & interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and interact comfortably with a wide range of levels in the organization: from senior executives to support staff within and outside of the company.

Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision

Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills

Proven ability to function effectively in a team environment.

Manage agency and vendor partnerships considering our web publishing team on the Samsung.com side as well as our IT support and development team on the e-commerce side.

Experience:

5+ years’ experience working within an ecommerce-enabled website environment managing websites

Experience with Hybris Back office is an asset

Experience with Adobe AEM and DTM is an asset

Experienced professional with full understanding on specialized areas; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways

Works on problems of diverse scope where analyzing data requires evaluating identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments
