We are looking for a client-focused and dynamic Service Desk Consultant for a client site in Calgary where you will contribute to the business by providing support to clients’ queries related to their software, hardware and computing platforms in a professional and courteous manner!A Day in the Life
  • Remotely troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues and resolve Tier 1 incidents according to the client’s and/or LVS’s service catalog
  • Respond to end users’ enquiries related to their supported software and computing platforms
  • Provide fully documented technical issues in a ticket management system, determine the client’s urgency, and where possible, provide resolution to client’s issues
  • Track and escalate outages
  • Dispatch incidents to the appropriate Tier 2 support group when Tier 1T resolution is not possible and manage the incident through its lifecycle
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and follow up with peers and leads to improve service delivery
  • Participate in group events and discussions
What You Bring
  • 1-3 years of related IT experience
  • A solid understanding of basic network components and concepts
  • Ability to provide support to end users on a variety of topics including Windows and Mac Operating Systems, MS Office, printers, mobile devices, and email
  • Self-motivation and professional attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Solid commitment to quality customer service
