The Role:The Recovery Specialist will play an integral role on our Customer Experience team. These individuals will be responsible for processing and administering all Refunds and Deferrals, and will have a direct impact on a student's journey. It is important that all processes, policies, and deadlines are executed accurately to ensure the success of the student’s application.In this role, you will:
  • Work closely with our partner schools, recruitment partners and students and develop strong relationships with them
  • Clarify the company’s processes when required
  • Collect and share all beneficial information in regards to process/policy to all team members
  • Ensure policies are understood, updated and practiced
  • Submit deferral and refund requests to schools as required
  • Track refund and deferral deadlines and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Follow up with clients and customers as required, and ensure follow ups are tracked and completed in a timely manner
  • Participate in a continuous state of learning
  • Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipment
You bring/you are:
  • Organized and able to track multiple deadlines
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative minded with the ability to brainstorm/improve/simplify the process
  • Adaptable to change in process and policies
  • Comfortable using the phone and calling schools, students and recruiters
  • Resourceful with the ability to find information and problem solve.
  • Detail Oriented
  • Proficient/have familiarity with Google and Office Suites, Microsoft Access, Adobe Acrobat, Basecamp

Must have:
  • +2 experience in customer service
Nice to have:
  • Experience working with educational institutions
  • BSc/BA in a relevant field
