Truepill in Hayward, CA is looking for a lead staff pharmacist to join our team and help us build out our leadership team. Our ideal candidate is efficient, attentive, ambitious, motivated and comfortable working in a high volume/fast paced environment.You will be responsible for day-to-day pharmacy operations including, but not limited to staffing/hiring, receiving, shipping, inventory management, training, supervisory tasks (coaching, guiding, counseling, administering discipline), and reporting related to performance metrics, work in progress, safety, and compliance.
You will lead teams across various functions, ensuring we keep a safe and productive work environment, and partner to cultivate a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change from within. Must be comfortable working with advanced technology.

**Full time position, swing shift hours are required 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM**What You'll Be Doing:
- Verifying prescriptions - majority (90%) are electronic
- Monitor patient profile intake for completeness and safety
- Checking every order for DUR or any clinical redflags
- Confident in making decisions with patient safety first and foremost
- Assisting patients with consultations
- Ensuring pharmacy complies with CA pharmacy laws
- Ability to look up laws for other 50 states
- Assisting, working with and managing a large team including technicians, data entry, and warehouse personnel to get fulfill orders efficiently
- Ensuring security of the facility
- Promptly assisting patient’s phone calls
- Working collaboratively under the supervision of a Pharmacist in Charge alongside other leads which may include other pharmacists, technicians, warehouse staff
- Tech savvy - we are a growing company and always introducing new technology
- Assist in any duties necessary to ensure the functionality of the business
- Manage the communications, planning, and assigning of work for team
- Establishing metrics, reports and dashboards to track performance against improvement targets
- Reviewing daily reports on performance metrics, headcount resources, work in progress, etc.
- Personnel management and staffing
- Reward and recognize performance and execute on progressive discipline as needed
- Driving continuous improvement and efficiencies in production planning, and developing team members accordingly is a major focus area.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a licensed pharmacist
- Experience in a leadership, supervisor, or management experience is a plus
- All leads must have open availability and be flexible
- Occasional overtime when needed. Holidays rotation is required.
- Community/retail experience is preferred for work pace
- Must be in good standing with Board of Pharmacy
- Proficient in all aspects of pharmacy law, policies, and procedures
