  • Own the strategy and implementation of end-to-end lifecycle marketing initiatives across Wealthsimple Invest and Wealthsimple Tax
  • Develop and drive hyper-personalized multi-channel (primarily email / push for now!) programs and experiments to deliver value-additive messaging experiences
  • Partner with a variety of stakeholders from engineering, product, design, marketing, brand, data science, client success to develop and deliver on shared goals, executing against organizational OKRs
  • Become a technical expert of our messaging infrastructure that will allow us to rapidly experiment
  • Explore new strategies to drive adoption, retention and cross-sell of users (eg. promotions, incentives)
  • Work with our Head of Lifecycle Marketing to productize messaging at Wealthsimple and to continually refine our vision and strategy
  • Build dashboards and analyze data from various sources to identify impact, behaviours and how we are incrementally learning with everything we ship
  • Represent Lifecycle Marketing across the organization -- you are a steward of your lifecycle stage across the business
We’re looking for someone who has/is:
  • A multi-year track record with marketing automation technology (ex. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Iterable, Sendgrid, etc.) and other tools/languages (ex. HTML/CSS, AMPscript, Liquid, SQL, etc.)
  • A thoughtful, critical thinker who follows and systematic and rigorous approach to problem solving
  • Proven success in working with cross-functional teams, such as Product and Data Science, to create and execute against shared goals that are based on data-informed hypotheses
  • Scrappy and has a willingness to learn. Executing quickly to allow for continual iteration and experimentation are core principles of our team
  • Shipped end-to-end messaging campaigns and scaled programs. You incept an idea, see it all the way through to implementation and learn how to improve on it next
  • An understanding of key elements of acquisition, activation, engagement and retention strategies, including customer journeys, lifecycle marketing (CRM), marketing automation and the metrics impacted
  • Able to digest ambiguous data sets and environments, communicate critical insights, and ask the right questions due to your robust analytical skillset
  • Naturally collaborative and empathetic. You're comfortable working with a diverse group of stakeholders across the organization and making sure every voice is heard
