What we do:- Engage retail staff by providing an intuitive workflow and holistic customer lifecycle and outreach strategy that allows retail sales reps to reach out to customers directly.- Enable stores to stay in touch with local prospects and current customers using 1:1 conversations via messaging or phone.- Motivates and empowers teams by connecting the dots between the outreach they do and the return they get, demonstrating that with the proper coaching and messaging they can have an incredible 10% increase in same-store sales.
Why it matters: - Millions of retail workers are handed a broom or they’re left unsupervised and resort to keeping up with their Snap streaks during the 8 hours they are idle each week. We challenge this status quo by empowering them to increase sales themselves and ultimately make more money.- Millions of customers of wireless carriers and technology retailers want a better customer experience that is personal, proactive and timely.- Customers and retail reps want to engage via messaging. 89% of shoppers want two-way conversations with brands and local businesses, via messaging and 83% of shoppers say they expect regular communication about their past purchases. Similarly, retail reps are uncomfortable with cold calls and prefer to start conversations in a medium that is more natural for them.
The Role:As anbsp;Product Management Intern, you will work directlynbsp;with our Product Team. This is an incrediblenbsp;opportunity to learn from the team that manages ournbsp;users experience on an everyday basis. You will get to work on several impactful projects throughout the summer to help accelerate our roadmap, inform our product decisions and improve our internal processes.
Please note this is a 4 month co-op position for students only enrolled in a co-op term, starting May 2021Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct competitive research including feature comparison matrices for main competitors and understanding roadmap trends.
  • Help day to day story building and backlog grooming
  • Understand and identify trends in bug reports and ticket resolutions.
  • Help conduct backlog refinements, retrospective, stand-ups and other SCRUM rituals.
  • Help the customer experience team with ticket volume as needed.
  • Help with 1-to-1 outreachnbsp;within the client experience team.
  • Work through the entire Product Lifecycle (Ideation/Discovery/Research/Build/Test/Maintain) for an epic.
You will be Successful in this Role if:
  • You’re an entrepreneur at heart and you love solving complicated problems
  • Strong business research and analysis skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills and an ability to work cross-functionally withnbsp;a diverse set of personalities and people
  • Experience usingnbsp;Product Management software including JIRA, Atlassian, Zendesk or similar productsnbsp;is an asset
  • Passion for software and technology and the ways in which it's built
  • Strong internet research skills
  • A very basic understanding of software engineering processes and frameworks like Scrum and Agile
  • Must be enrolled in a post-secondary institution or co-op-based program (due to funding requirements for this position)
