As the demand for an online marketplace has grown significantly, their business has been booming! As they enter their next phase of growth, they’re looking for a driven and hungry Business Development Manager to join their Vancouver team to build relationships within their existing client base.

About The Role:

• The Business Development Manager will be responsible for increasing sales in the designated territory of Vancouver Mainland, with huge growth opportunity across North America
• This position will be focused on 100% new business development
• Calling on key decision-makers via in-person meetings, phone or email with the goal of bringing on new business
• Responsible for qualifying inbound leads, analyzing marketing campaigns
• Serve as a lead point of contact for partners on all commercial activities
• Measured on monthly growth targets
• Reporting directly to the Head of Account Management (Vancouver)

Requirements

• 2+ years of demonstrated B2B sales experience in SaaS, online marketplace or payments
• Proven track record of success in a measured environment
• Must be a true hunter who loves finding new opportunities to grow the business
• Must show high business acumen and have a genuine curiosity in understanding and solving business challenges
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skill, with a strong phone presence;
• Must be able to be autonomous and roll up their sleeve given the start-up nature of the business, especially with all the different time zones we work with internally (US, Australia, London, Canada, Dubai etc)
