Job Description

Working as part of the IMS Marketing department, the newly created post of Marketing Manager (Mobility) will be focused on managing and implementing marketing and communication activities to support the IMS Mobility Solutions division and its revenue growth plans. Strategic direction will be provided by the Snr Director of Marketing with guidance by the Head of Market Strategy along with the senior members of the Mobility division.

The Marketing Manager (Mobility) will:

  • Be accountable for implementing the Mobility division’s B2B marketing activities, in accordance with the evolving marketing plan with a focus on marketing program and campaign execution for Mobility
  • Responsible for product marketing execution (including relevant content marketing requirements), working from strategic direction, to oversee the development of marketing collateral, white papers, videos and all content marketing requirements
  • Key contact for the implementation of Mobility team campaigns, including both earned and paid campaigns, as well as optimization of MQLs and analysis of campaign metrics/KPIs
  • Management of annual Mobility event marketing calendar along with product marketing and campaign efforts for both physical and virtual events
  • Drive effective communications with all internal and external stakeholders. This will include internal Marketing resources (such as Graphic Design, Market Research, Digital Implementation); wider internal teams (e.g. Sales, Product and Data Science); and external partners (e.g. , specialist agency partners and consultants)
  • Work closely with the Mobility team to manage the prioritization of projects and marketing requirements, and ensure they fit appropriately into the cross-functional workflow and prioritization processes established within the wider Marketing department
  • Work as part of the wider IMS Marketing team and will at times be required to be involved with general marketing activities on an ad hoc basis, at the request of the Snr Director of Marketing and/or Chief Marketing Officer

Requirements

  • 3-5 years B@B marketing management experience, preferably within a related industry
  • Experienced in roles such as marketing manager, product marketing manager or campaign marketing manager with experience in content marketing development/management required
  • Preference given to applicants with technology Marketing background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to formulate content and copy as needed
  • Experience working with Marketing Automation and Lead Nurturing Systems (ie. Hubspot), CRM systems (ie. Salesforce) and advanced Campaign/Ad Reporting Tools
  • Experience managing the articulation of relatively complex technology propositions, resulting in clear, simple communications
  • Must have worked extensively across a wide variety of marketing activities, including campaign execution; product marketing; social media campaigning; PR coordination; execution of thought-leadership content, e.g. white papers; and multimedia production management
  • Demonstrated an ability to manage marketing activity/projects to budget and deadline
  • Proven track record in delivering b2b demand generation campaigns that drive sales growth with a focus on metrics and KPI tracking/reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Clear alignment to IMS brand values and culture
  • Some experience in delegation of tasks/projects to a Marketing Executive would be a plus
  • Experience of working with CMS tools (such as WordPress) along with a high-level understanding of analytics packages (e.g. Google Analytics) would be advantageous
  • ‘Can do’ attitude, but with the resilience to challenge internal decision making in pursuit of optimal outcomes aligned to business goals
  • An appetite to immerse themselves in the subject matter and markets in which the Mobility team (and broader IMS business) operates showing a real thirst for knowledge and understanding
  • Excellent organizational skills to simultaneously deliver multiple projects to deadline and budget, while working under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • A willingness to contribute fresh thinking and ideas to the wider IMS Marketing team
