The Opportunity
At Reach, we are growing. We are seeking an energetic, capable intern to learn from our development group. You will be working with our development teams to learn more about what it takes to be successful at our company and in our industry.
- Learn to work as a collaborative member of the Reach development team
- Understand DevOps best practices to improve build, deployment
- Work with the development team to design, prototype, code, and test using a variety of tools and languages
- Understand more about:
- Integrating with third-party APIs using technology such as RESTful APIs and JSON
- Improving the quality, maintainability, and performance of the Reach core platform
- Contributing to our automated testing suite and help to improve testability and coverage using industry-recommended practices
- Assisting our partner team with product and merchant support, as required
- Inspecting and adapt development processes and automation to improve team productivity
Requirements
- Desire to gain real-world work experience as a developer
- Interest in gaining experience with cloud technologies and modern human-computer interfaces
- Passion for hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development
- A beginning understanding of agile methodologies
- Developing project management skills
- Working on a BSc/MSc in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
