Lead, Mover Driver - 20$-22$/h (Full time)

We have developed end-to-end, vertically integrated logistics, and supply chain technology platforms that allow us to offer consumers a much more convenient solution at a price equal to that of existing operators (self-storage). With thousands of customers served, we are the #1 platform in Quebec for on-demand storage and eCommerce fulfillment. In 2020, we've grown from 6 people to 30+. In 2021, we're expanding across Canada and we will be hiring across all teams to support our growth.

We are now looking for Experienced Lead, Mover Drivers to join the moving and storage team.

Our core operation consists of moving customers' residential items from their homes to one of our warehouses, storing them carefully and methodically, and delivering them back when they need them. On-site, the operations team also creates an online catalog of items with pictures to allow our customers to order for delivery of any of their items on-demand through our platform.

We are basically their garage in the cloud, and as such, we need to keep great track and care of our customers' goods.

Responsibilities

• Move, pack and load customers’ items onsite at their place of residence;
• Act as the face of Spaceful by delivering 5-star customer service;
• Maintain responsibility for the quality of work done on each job;
• Lead a team of 1 to 3 Mover Helpers;
• Be part of a team of helpers amp; lead drivers to complete 1-3 moving/storage jobs per day;
• Showing up on time with a positive and proactive attitude is mandatory

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma;
• Weekend availability required;
• Ability to lift up to 50-100 lbs and energy to move and pack throughout the day;
• Basic understanding of technology such as iPhones and Google Maps;
• We are looking for individuals that are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and team players;
• 1 year of truck driving experience with a perfect driving record;
• Experience with at least one of the following preferred: moving, warehouse, manufacturing, inventory management, stocking, helper, or general labor.

Benefits

Pay - $20-22 per hour paid bi-weekly ($20-22 base pay + $4 in expected tips)

Hours - Must be flexible to start between 6 am - 8 am.

Days - Must be available throughout the weekend.
