The growing Business Logistics division of Spaceful Canada is now looking for a dedicated pick, pack, and ship Operations Supervisor for our Business Logistics (eCommerce 3PL) division.
Requirements
What You’ll Do
- Manage, train, and develop a growing team of pick and packers and delivery drivers by providing ongoing coaching and feedback;
- Develop, improve and standardize processes, from identifying opportunities regarding software features to ensuring consistent execution of the team;
- Doing active supervision to follow with the team members many times a day on our operations standards regarding health and safety, quality of customer service, quality of work, and efficiency;
- Collaborate with the sales and customer success team to plan work in a way we have all information needed to operate smoothly;
- Manage employee schedule;
- React quickly to a problem;
- Make sure the team always has the material to work properly and order accordingly the needed tools;
- Act as the contact point between the team members and the other functions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred);
- Perfectly Fluent in French and English (Written and Oral);
- 3+ years of operations management experience;
- Experience building, coaching, and training teams in a fast-paced environment (Tech company or startup background a plus!);
- Rigorous, resilient, persistent, and solution-driven;
- You can stand/walk for up to 10 hours and you can push, pull, squat, bend, and reach;
- You can carry up to 50 pounds;
- You are customer-oriented,
- You are highly comfortable with softwares and mobile apps;
- Strong cross-functional communication skills;
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in stressful situations;
- Flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment with priority shifts and ambiguous situations.
