Our team is building SaaS services and installable applications on cloud providers (Azure, GCP, AWS) and on-premise servers.
We are looking for a mid-level Software Reliability Engineer / DevOps with Linux experience in the past, who will be able to help development teams setting up environment and infrastructure and deploying software in a highly reliable and automated manner.
Responsibilities
- setting up CI/CD pipelines for different environments; our production need to be stable and easily scalable;
- setting up monitoring on hardware or instance level, services level and user-level;
- configuring automatic alerting system if something breaks;
- fixing critical incidents on 24/7 basis
- managing our health check and load systems, like we have now in DataDog
- may be help developers to use additional APM to tune performance
- set up log storage and analysis available for all the developers (e.g. ELK)
- users/credentials management
- lite configuration and perf tuning skills for our MySQL (not on the DBA level, but something)
- backups and storage management
- domains and SSL certificates managements
- if scripting skills are enough - setting up perf tests in collaboration with dev teams.
Required skills
- BSc+ in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of Linux systems administration
- Building Kubernetes-based CD pipelines;
- Docker, Configuration management systems;
- Experience in BOTH cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure
- Scripting language for automation (bash, python, name your favourite here)
- Familiarity with performance and scalability troubleshooting
