Reporting to the Fulfillment Manager, you will lead the front-line of Vention’s pick amp; ship operations. You will help implement new processes to help improve the quality and efficiency of our current processes and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of 10-30 workers executing pick and ship operations in a way to maximise team efficiency
- Shipping orders according to Vention’s commitment schedule
- Contributing to the improvement and scalability of operational processes and tools
- The onboarding process for this position will be a 1 month training period where you will gradually learn all the skills and standards of the job of the people you will then lead. This process will teach you our current operating system and will evaluate your leadership and management abilities.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in directly leading teams of 7-12 people
- Experience working in a high-pressure environment
- Prior experience with pick and ship or operations is an asset.
- Availability to work long hours (10-12 hrs/day) when necessary
- Undergraduate degree or other post-secondary education and strong written communication are an asset
